There are many ways people define what I am calling the subconscious mind. It has been referred to as energy, soul, divine presence, and any other of other titles. Whatever means by which it is referred is the basis upon which you are defined.
What is the Subconscious Mind
Your subconscious mind is the most powerful information processor known. It observes the surrounding world and your mind’s awareness and reaction to what is happening. It reads what is happening around you and immediately engages in learned behaviors. There is no limit to how far it can reach to bring you everything you need to be aware of your real feelings. All of this can be done without the help, supervision, or even the awareness of the conscious mind.
Using Your Subconscious Mind
The value you gain by understanding the function and use of the subconscious mind is unlimited. You control the direction it takes by managing the three elements of The Process of Living. Those three elements are your thoughts, feelings, and actions. What you think, how you feel, and what you do sets the unlimited power of your subconscious to work for you. This is what is meant by the term “empowerment of the mind.” What it brings into your life is simply a function of how you direct it.
The other function the subconscious mind provides is a feedback loop. Since it always follows your direction – without judgment – the results that happen are always a function of your intent. The problem is that sometimes, our intent may not be completely clear to us. It’s not unusual to have your thoughts say one thing, but deep down, your feelings are saying something else. So, how do you know what you’re sending out? Simple – just pay attention to what is coming back. That’s how you control your life.
How Your Subconscious Mind Impacts Your Life
There are no coincidences. There’s no bad or good luck. In our world, there is literally an unlimited array of people, events, circumstances, and more. You can choose to focus on whichever of these you want. Those impacting you the most are the ones upon which you’ve chosen to focus. You cannot change everything that’s going on around you, but you can change which of those things play the most important roles in your life.
That’s the good news! It means you can make the necessary changes to change the results. Acknowledge your responsibility (not blame!), believe in yourself, and look for another direction to take – another “frequency” to tune in.
Remember – You are in charge of how life impacts you!
